Victoria Walker
My work is inspired by movement, the beauty of natural forms and the idea that sometimes the most precious elements are hidden beneath the surface. I am intrigued by the idea of creating gentle impressions of the natural world from comparatively harsh materials and tiny mechanisms. This chellenge is explored in my signature seed-pod lockets in which tiny articulated flowers emerge and unfold from within. Combining the natural beauty of seed pods and flowers with unexpected kinetics, I aim to create precious jewellery that will be treasured and enjoyed by both wearer and viewer.
